Tranquilo Tours will review and respond within 7 business days via email where we will set up a meeting to give you a free consultation. If you like what we design for you, we'll move forward with booking all hotels, transportation, and excursions for your trip. If you don’t like what we present, no problem! We'll adjust and give you different options at no cost until you are happy with our recommendations.

Cancellation Policy

At Tranquilo Tours, we understand that travel plans sometimes need to change. To keep things fair for both our guests and our guides, the following cancellation terms apply:

 

  • Deposit

    • A 50% deposit of the guide fee is required at the time you confirm your booking with Tranquilo Tours.

    • This deposit secures your spot and allows us to begin preparing your itinerary and reservations.

  • Cancellations by Guest

    • More than 60 days before your tour start date: Your deposit will be refunded minus a 10% administrative fee.

    • 30–59 days before your tour start date: Your deposit is non-refundable, but may be applied as credit toward a future Tranquilo Tours trip within 12 months.

    • Less than 30 days before your tour start date: Your deposit is fully non-refundable.

  • Cancellations by Tranquilo Tours

    • If Tranquilo Tours must cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disaster, safety concerns, guide unavailability), you will receive a full refund of any deposits paid, or you may choose to transfer your booking to a future date at no additional cost.

  • No Shows

    • If you fail to arrive for your scheduled tour without prior notice, no refunds or credits will be issued.

  • Travel Insurance

    • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in case of unexpected events such as illness, flight cancellations, or other personal emergencies.​
